Unlike gold, silver is more used in industry, so its price dynamics have a relationship with the yellow metal sometimes of strength, sometimes of weakness. If we look at a historical graph of the relative strength between gold and silver starting from the beginning of the 80's, we can see that silver had four periods in which its performance in euro was much higher than gold.
The most important period was between 2008 and 2011, the fourth in the series, where silver had an extra-performance compared to yellow metal of 227,81%. Although historically it has always been gold to have a higher performance than silver, curiously, in the period considered, the difference in performance between the two metals is only +1.31% in favor of gold.
