Ron William

Ron William, CFTe is a market strategist, educator/mentor and performance coach; with +20 years of experience, working for leading economic research & institutional firms; producing macro research & trading strategies. He specializes in blended, top-down, semi-discretionary analysis, driven by cycles and proprietary timing models.

Ron is also a behavioral finance expert, trading psychologist & performance coach at IntensiChi, using latest techniques in behavioural-risk models, peak-performance, neuroscience and stress response management (SRM), including mindfulness & coherence training. Previously, Ron was a senior Tactical & Market Timing Strategist at the ECU Group, a Global Macro Investment & Advisory Firm. He was part of the Multi-Asset Research & Advisory Team, headed by veteran technician Robin Griffiths; applying his signature "Roadmap" cycle model.

He dedicated 4-years working at Bloomberg L.P as a senior TA Specialist, responsible for training/consultation across the EMEA region, and contributed to the development of charting strategies and the TA platform of their Bloomberg Professional Service™.

Driven by high-integrity education, Ron serves as board member of the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA); Head of the SAMT Geneva Chapter and Honorary member of ESTA. He is a guest lecturer at leading universities, active guest speaker for the CFA, CAIA & CISI, and senior teacher at colleges offering an accredited diploma in trading and investing. Ron was also previously invited by the House of Commons, to join an industry guidance team, following the official launch of an All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), in Digital Currencies.
