Improve your investment performance through education! Finally you'll get all the tools you need to become a highly profitable trader and consistently grow your investment portfolio without taking unnecessary high risks. If you are serious about making money online by investing in the stock market or if you want to create a new source of passive income, this is the place to start:

CERTIFIED FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN (CFTe)

The CFTe I is offered year-round through IFTA's exam provider Pearson VUE. This multiple-choice exam covers a wide range of technical knowledge and understanding of the principals of technical analysis, usually not involving actual experience. This exam is currently offered in English, German, Arabic, Spanish, French, and Chinese. The cost for IFTA member colleagues is $550 US.

1.  Register and pay the CFTe I application fee here.

2.  Within 72 hours, IFTA will send you an Authorization to Test letter, via email, with further instructions on how to log in to the Pearson VUE (IFTA’s exam provider) website and schedule your examination.

The CFTe II is offered bi-annually, in April and October. This exam incorporates a number of questions requiring an essay based analysis and answers. For this, the candidate should demonstrate a depth of knowledge and experience in applying various methods of technical analysis. The exam provides a number of current charts covering one specific market (often an equity), to be analyzed as though for a Fund Manager. This exam is offered in English, German, Arabic, Spanish, French, Italian, and Chinese. The cost for IFTA member colleagues is *$850 US. *Additional fees may apply: $100 US for non-IFTA proctored exam locations; $250 US translation fee.

1. The next CFTe II exam is on 22 October 2020. The deadline to register is 2 September 2020. Note: Due to COVID-19, the CFTe II will be proctored online. Details about the process will be distributed to candidates closer to the exam date.

2. Register and pay the CFTe II application fee here.

MASTER OF FINANCIAL TECHNICAL ANALYSIS (MFTA)

The MFTA requires an original body of research, a research paper of no less than three thousand, and no more than five thousand words. Charts, Figures and Tables may be presented in addition, but should not constitute the bulk of the paper. It is intended to be a rigorous demonstration of professionalism in the global arena of Technical Analysts. There are two submission dates per year, in May and October. The cost for member colleagues is $950 US.

1.  The next MFTA (Session 2) application deadline is 2 October 2020. For more details (including prerequisites), visit the MFTA webpage.

2.  Register and pay the MFTA application fee here.
