CFTE I Preparatory Seminar in Zurich

Seminar Description:

This seminar is the ideal way to prepare for the CFTE I examination. This does not necessarily imply that the exam must be taken. This seminar is suitable for both private and institutional investors, who wish to delve deeper into the methods of Technical Analysis. It is assumed that participants have at least a basic knowledge of Technical Analysis. This seminar is closely geared to the syllabus of the CFTE I Diploma. The syllabus and study guide can be downloaded in pdf format here. In order to make sure that all participants gain the maximum value out of this seminar, the number of participants will be restricted to 14. This seminar will only take place when at least 6 participants have signed up. The seminar starts on Saturday 10:00 am and ends at 18:00 pm. On Sunday it starts at 09:00 am and ends at 17:00 pm.

CFTE II Preparatory Seminar in Zurich

Seminar Description:

In this seminar you will learn how to implement the various chart techniques correctly and thus be able to produce a qualified analysis. This seminar offers a deeper insight into the most important methods of Technical Analysis, together with practical lessons in prevailing market situations. In order to make sure that all participants gain the maximum value out of this seminar, the number of participants will be restricted to 14. This seminar will only take place when at least 6 participants have signed up. This seminar is closely geared to the syllabus of the CFTE II Diploma which can be downloaded in pdf format here. This does not necessarily imply that the exam must be taken.

About the instructor:

Dr. Gregor Bauer, President of the VTAD. IFTA, Education, Marketing & Public Relations.
Dr. Bauer, born 1962, has been involved intensively with the financial markets for the past 20 years and is an independent asset manager for private clients and companies in Wiesbaden. He is the author of two books on technical analysis and trading and writes articles on a regular basis for various renowned financial publications.
He runs seminars and workshops on technical analysis and Portfolio Management and is a regular guest speaker at Investment fairs and on television. He is particularly interested in candlestick charting and behavioral finance. Gregor Bauer serves on the board of directors of the World Association of Technical Analysts (www.ifta.org) and is a member of the execution committee of IFTA. Additionally, in his capacity as Exam Management Director of IFTA, he oversees the exam administration and is responsible for structuring the exams.
